Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya is situated in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It is popularly called the DAVV Indore. The university is one of the top universities in Madhya Pradesh as well as in India and students from across nation as well as World are pursing different courses from this education institute. At present it is offering many graduations, post-graduation as well as professional and vocational courses. There are mainly four categories under which you can find the various courses. The university isn’t only involved with the colleges that are affiliated; they offer services like adult education, electronic media and information technology. This University puts education and academic excellence in the priority list. There are 27 departments for undergraduate, post graduate and research level programs that come in 16 faculties.

DAVV Indore is among the very few universities in India to have a course that is so integrated as well as innovative. They have many sections in stream of science, management, technology, law, media and engineering. There are about two hundred and seventy colleges that are affiliated to the university today and they have become the father of all the courses that are called self-supporting. Many new universities are now encouraging this. Among the colleges that are affiliated to the university, 20 of them are offering the courses related to self-support and thus helping the students become sufficient for themselves. This is an autonomous university and their academic courses are pretty flexible. If you are a candidate and you are interested in entering the professional courses that are offered by the university, you will have to take the Common Entrance Test (CET), and Doctoral Entrance Test (DET) conducted by the university. Admission starts after results get declared for entrance exam will be based strictly on merit. The admission tests are conducted all over the country and in the regular courses; there are 10500 students who are studying in the university. Apart from that, there are about a thousand students who are pursuing their education under the distance learning program of institute. The main courses that are offered by DAW Indore are:

DAVV RESULTS

DAVV Indore publishes its results usually in the months of November to February (Depend on course as well as pattern of examination). Results are made available on student’s friendly website of DAVV. In-order to check your result, first Open University website and hover for DAVV result option, once you locate the tab click on the link and you will be directed to a new page. Here you find result of different courses in multiple links. Click on link that matches with the result for the subject you need. You will be asked to enter your roll number and you have to click on submit button after that. You will get the result of the course that you have selected on the screen. Click on the print option if you need a printout of result.

DAVV EXAM TIME TABLE

The exams are conducted in the semester system and there are usually 3 semesters for each course. With the following details shared below, you will have a better idea of the semester system conducted by DAVV course wise:

·         M. Ed is a course of 2 years having 4 semesters

·         M. Com is a course of 2 years having 4 semesters

·         Most of the M.A courses too have 4 semesters

·         M.A in Urdu, sociology has 3 semesters.

All post graduate courses conduct the semester exams that take place under DAAV are either held in the month of February or March. So, if you are enrolling yourself under a course in this university, you have to prepare yourself to give your semester examinations during this time as per DAVV time table. For undergraduate courses university conducts examinations during December and January months.

DAVV ADMIT CARD

The students who have enrolled themselves under DAVV Indore, can download their admit cards from the official website of university. Here, they will get the admit cards for all under graduate courses, post graduate and various other courses offered by this institute. Since the exams are conducted in January every year, you will get notification to download your DAVV admit cards in nearby dates. The 1st, 3rd and 5th semesters of every course are held in January. So, you will get option to download admit card of your examination a week before your exams schedule date. The procedure in which you get the admit card is given below:

·         Click on the link that is related to admit cards

·         When the page opens, select the course, the semester you are appearing for and enter your roll number

·         Once the admit card appears, download it or click on print.
